Selected Work
Kurdish Dialect Classifier
A lightweight web application that identifies whether a given Kurdish text (in Arabic script) is written in Sorani or Kurmanji (Badini). Built with Gradio for the UI and trained a Logistic Regression classifier using TF-IDF vectorization. Achieved 92% classification accuracy on test data.
Gorrer - Kurdish Transliterator
A web tool that converts Kurdish text between Arabic and Latin scripts. Built with Flask and deployed as a serverless API on Vercel, it handles linguistic nuances like bizroke insertion for accurate transliteration.
KurdType
A platform for discovering and downloading open-licensed Kurdish fonts. The site makes typography more accessible for Kurdish content creators and designers looking for quality typefaces.
London Towers Erbil
Designed and built the website for London Towers Erbil, focusing on clean design and responsive implementation to showcase the property effectively.
Kurdish News Corpus
Collected and processed over 140,000 Kurdish news articles during an internship at UKH AI Center using Beautiful Soup and Scrapy, creating a valuable dataset for Kurdish NLP research.
